Getting Started at CrossFit OldTown!

We have been introducing new members to CrossFit since February of 2007, thus far we have found this way to be most effective:

CrossFit OldTown Foundations Program

If you do NOT have a background in the fundamental exercises and equipment used in CrossFit, our Foundations program is the safest and most effective way for you to START your new journey at CrossFit OldTown (CFOT).

The Foundations program includes 6 sessions (45 minutes each) to systematically introduce you to the core exercises at CrossFit OldTown (e.g., Kettlebells, Calisthenics, Medicine balls, Barbells, Rowing, and Plyometrics).  Each session will consist of skill development, a workout, and further introduction to our strong, inspiring, and fit community.

Foundations is held on Monday and Wednesday night at 6pm or Tuesday and Thursday morning at 6am.

Our Foundations price is the same as our regular membership. Everyone who joins CFOT starts their membership with foundations twice a week. If you join with a membership package greater than twice a week you are free to get a workout in on Thursdays or Saturdays as well.

Looking for a free trial before joining Foundations?
Join us for a free trial class on any Thursday!

Simply come in 10 minutes before class and introduce yourself to the coach; tell them you are brand new and here for your free trial. We run 100’s of people a year through their first CrossFit class, you are in good hands!

All classes are 45 minutes in length and led by a Head Coach at CrossFit OldTown.  In a typical class, you’ll be taken through a warm-up, provided with a skill session, and given a challenging workout of the day.

CrossFit OldTown has over 200 inspiring athletes of varying age and experience, covering a full range of fitness levels.  Classes will include those that have been with us for 4 years, 4 months or 4 days.  All CFOT coaches are highly adept at handling various skill levels, and workouts are constructed to be scaled and modified according to an individual’s needs.

After the free trial class you can decide if you are ready to take the next step and join our previously mentioned Foundations program
